The hotel had everything you need, the staff were friendly & efficient, the room was spacious, clean and comfy and super quiet. Very convenient for the railway and shops. The rooftop bar is lovely

I had a great time on my birthday and anniversary. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Only had an issue with the ventilation , it was really dusty. Make sure all cleaners always clean that area and it should always be double check by someone else.. mouth was dry during night stay. Apart from the that great hotel. Will go back again

Potential to be great once teething issues sorted

Overall has the potential to be a great hotel, like others we experienced teething problems ( hotel not long opened ) upon check in, ie: TV in room not working, no tea/coffee or cups just saucers ! was resolved by changing rooms but took an hour for reception to organise. Breakfast was amazing with huge choice of hot / cold food. Staff very freindly , excellent location.

Brilliant new Hotel in Leeds

The whole experience was superb from start to finish. Staff so professional and chatty made you feel so welcome. Our room was on the 11 floor good views. Room was very smart and has more than needed, so clean and well equipped, great nights sleep. The roof top bar was brilliant good views staff brilliant, good atmosphere. Our booking included breakfast, good choose and good service from staff. Can leave luggage so could enjoy the following day in Leeds. My only criticism was the 10:00am check out on a weekend, so we checked out and then had breakfast, this will not stop us booking to stay again or recommend, looks like we have a new best place to stay in Leeds.

Great check in , fantastic room, comfortable bed. Bathroom small and terrible cheap toilet roll. Never got breakfast, arrived 930, still hadn't got a table at 10 when service stopped .

I had high expectations of our stay at the new Hyatt but the experience was disappointing as the room we checked into (in Hyatt House) was full of dog hair, had a dirty toilet and was very dusty. It came to light that every room in Hyatt House is dog friendly. The reception were however amazing and luckily there were rooms available in Hyatt Place and we were moved quickly. The breakfast was disappointing as the food area is too small for the number of guests that stay. There was no coordination to ensure that there was a steady supply of hot food. I don’t think we’d stay here again which is a shame because I like the brand and style of the hotel but I think I’d experience better elsewhere.

On arrival our room wasn’t available so we were upgrades to the next room as it was 7pm. Room Was clean and spacious. However theu have automatic lights in the bathroom which is next to the bed so every time you need to use the bathroom during the night the bedroom would light up and can’t turn the light off! So lead to a poor nights sleep. More concerning is the hotels food hygiene and safety! Upon going down to breakfast I noticed the so called chef put cooked cold sausages on the counter for them to be dumped into a hot plate… no prob for temperature and I could clearly see theses sausages and bacon where cold!! Upon complaining I was looked at like I have 3 heads and didn’t know what I was talking about even though I am a trained chef!! I complained to the manager who didn’t seem at all concerned and couldn’t understand why this was a safety issue! My partner sausage was a whopping 33degrees which is smack bag in the danger zone for food bacteria and food poisoning. These sausage still got served even though they should have been instantly removed… they did say they were going to re probe everything… all through fake smiles and not a care in the world! I’ve asked for a refund on they bacteria filled food but nothing!! Not even an apology. Disgusting and I hope the other customer don’t end up really ill. Oh and fire alarm went off and was evacuated without even a reason!!

The hotel is located in perfect location to enjoy walking through the main areas of Leeds. The university of Leeds is 17 mins away, the main student housing area is 15mins, the main shopping and dining areas are 7mins away and both train station and bus stations are close as well. It was a very nice hotel for longer stays with a full kitchen. The only complaint was the internet strength. There is a dead spot in my room where there was no wifi signal. It made it difficult to work during the afternoons as I was on eastern time zone for work while I was there. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.
