The gym was basic and the locker system wasn't functioning. Staff are great though throughout the hotel and the area around the hotel is very good. Great Indian restaurant down the road.

Booked this hotel for my in laws as they were attending a funeral in Surrey. Staff were very helpful and found a new room for them on the ground floor when they realised my mother in law struggled with stairs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional with an excellent range of options. Would stay again.

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location, the setting is really lovely, very peaceful and rural, stunning surroundings and historic buildings. Excellent food too Unfortunately the pool was out of action during our stay. Other than that all very good.

Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be booking another stay. So many lovely areas where you can just relax.

We’ve stayed here before but we were so disappointed this time. The room smelt like stale smoke, the shower flooded the bathroom. The carpets were dirty. It was meant to be a superior room but I’ve had better rooms in budget hotels. No idea how it’s labelled a 4-star hotel.

The hotel is very good for the needs of a business stay, rooms are smallish but overall excellent standard with nice touches like Penhalglion toiletries, you dont expect that in a "conferance" hotel enviroment.

The property is undergoing refurbishment this means its a bit off a mess overall a nice place but im glad i had it as a reward night, sadly couldnt go for a swim as the pool was shut too, Redeeming factor breakfast, one of the best breakfasts i have had in a very long time, this proving you can have a quality buffet,

The property is in an attractive setting which is very convenient for the local shops. There is plenty of parking and the area feels safe. The rooms are not spectacular but are more than acceptable and are clean. There was a very good choice of breakfast options also. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Lovely hotel

Unusual hotel but pleasantly surprised about the site. Busy and we had to change rooms. Superior room better but getting dated. Excellent breakfast included which is a big plus. East Horsley very nice location.

Enjoyable stay

Another enjoyable stay in Horsley Place. Pleasant, comfortable, but small room. Enjoyed walking round lovely grounds and using gym and pool. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. We've found it good value and in a convenient place, using it as a base for visiting Wisley, NT properties etc and catching train into London (Horsley Station 25 mins walk). Unfortunately, wifi wasn't good at times.

Lovely second stay!

This was our second stay and we love it here. The grounds are lovely to walk around with a beautiful lake and little herb garden that smells amazing. We used the pool during our stay which is a decent size for what we need. The room gave us what we needed for a nights stay. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and had breakfast here which was tasty and filling! My partner and I really enjoy coming here, the staff are really friendly & helpful and we feel we can ‘lose’ ourselves here. Would recommend.

Breakfast was really nice and of very good quality. The hotel itself is located in a beautiful location. The Silver Linden trees are simply fantastic with their wonderful aroma. Unfortunately, the bed was very small for two people and I would certainly avoid a second time.

Impressive setting and original property (Horsley Towers). Pool/gym a definite plus. 'Superior' room, though, (Horsley Court) less than you'd get from typical Travelodge/Premier. Overall the price was fair enough.

Worth a visit

The venue, and location are amazing, great short stay would recommend only let down for us was the broken air conditioning and the response to our initial reporting of the problem. That aside it's well worth a visit, definitely recommended

It is a unique Property with previous owners being Lord Byron's daughter Ada Lovelace, who wrote the mathematical algorithm for modern British computers, and Tommy Sopwith who developed his Aeroplane for the RAF. It was perfect to visit RHS Wisley, and avoid the horrendous M25 Junction 10 tail back, travelling through the Surrey countryside. It had beautiful grounds and a large lake.
