“It was a lovely place to stay. Staff, rooms and food so nice would love to stay there again”

“Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...

“Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.”

“This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. The room I slept in was very simple with a tiny bathroom but it was clean and perfectly acceptable for the price charged (which included a full...

“Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to...

“A heritage room in a wonderfully presented property, with a spacious room with specialty tea and coffee and local fresh milk. A warm welcome from the staff on arrival and then later for a meal in the bar/restaurant. Very handy for all Ledbury has to offer and walking distance of the wide array of sights, shops, pubs restaurants, take aways and everything you could need/ want. Wandered and enjoyed several of the local hostelries and beers with welcoming locals. Returned to the Seven Stars and...

“Our room was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic, with very nice bacon and eggs. Staff very friendly.”

“En general bien pero tuve el problema que de la regadera no salía el agua caliente! Solo de la tina así que imagínense el relajo para bañarse, el hotel limpio y lindo junto a un río aunque algo alejado de la zona de más interés. Tienes que tomar taxi a fuerza. El desayuno es lo mejor, delicioso y preparado por una señora lindisima y que cocina delicioso”

“Will stay again excellent value clean warm and quiet.”

“Good location, basic but clean room, friendly staff. Good parking. Value for money”

“Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.”

“Great view. Limited parking but did get down the road. Good location for walking the hills. Good breakfast”

“We were arriving late but they wait for us and gave us the keys and checking process was very fast and good.”

“Obvious it’s a place that caters for wedding parties at the weekend and at this time of year no one else. Rooms are a little tired, radiator in bedroom didn’t work at any point. Lack of hooks/chest of drawers in room very frustrating especially when the wardrobe is full of spare pillows/duvets/fans/trouser press/ironing board and iron. Good amenities but no storage space. Hooks in room and bathroom would be great addition. Breakfast not worth £18 each”

“Staff were very helpful and friendly (Martha was especially good). Good selection of beer and great atmosphere”

“Lovely setting, really helpful staff. The room itself was fantatsic and had every amenity you might expect. Unfortunately let down by a usable, but tired bath room. We also drank and ate in the pub which was really nice and good value.”

“Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday...

“Room not aging well. Stained carpet. Bed linen clean. Towels clean. Shower ok.”
