Charming hotel with a few disappointing issues
This is a charming hotel with a lovely terrace and a very nice enclosed outdoor space, which makes it particularly pleasant in the summer. The rooms are a good size and well equipped, which was a definite plus. The breakfast was also really good and was one of the highlights of our stay.
However, we experienced a couple of issues that were disappointing. Despite staying in the middle of summer, we were unable to open the windows in our room, which was quite surprising and made the room less comfortable than expected.
More importantly, I had booked five rooms several months in advance, but when we arrived, the hotel only had four rooms under the reservation. It took some additional time for the team to confirm that this was in fact an error on their side. What was frustrating was that, initially, they assumed that I had made a mistake rather than checking their records first.
Overall, the hotel has a lot of charm and potential, but the issue with the reservation and the lack of communication around it left us with a mixed impression.
