The staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean, its always quiet. This hotel is always my go to hotel when i need a place to stay! I have never had a bad experience here in the 25 + times ive stayed here

The property is old, but well kept up and clean. Very convenient location. Office is not open 24/7, but they do have a night call system available, if needed. Wish that they had coffee makers in the room, or at least offered in the office. You have to go next door to the gas station to get a cup of coffee.

Not for a good night's sleep

This was an ancient bed that suffered from previous years of large/hefty sized sleepers using either side of the bed. One couldn't help but tip towards the middle which was severely caved in. Having had back problems, I had the worst night of sleep not helped by the rock hard bed pillows that I was attempting to use for anchorage with the sagging mattress

Very basic, not even coffee in the morning (such costs almost nothing). But it was relatively inexpensive, clean, quiet and easy ro access. The staff was also very pleasant.

The hotel is a bit older but very clean. Our room was great except for a very strong urine (?) smell. As soon as you walked in, it hit you. Other than that, we had no complaints!

There were three men hanging out on the back stairs indoors which happened to be right outside our room. They were just talking and were not really doing anything wrong. As senior ladies we felt a bit uncomfortable. They went to their rooms or whatever around 11pm and then it was quiet. The beds were hard and the pillows were also very hard. Staff were courteous.

The pros: * Great price * The refrigerator was actually a pretty good size and worked well! It was a step above a mini fridge and had quite a lot of storage space, so that was nice. * The AC / Heating worked really well and we had no issues with it throughout our stay. The cons: * The hallways REEK of cigarette smoke, despite there being signs on every surface of the hotel hallways and rooms saying "No Smoking". Not sure where the smell comes from. The rooms themselves smell a bit better, but we had to air our room out by opening the window the first night because we got headaches within just a few minutes of being in there. * The shower / tub looked pretty beaten up, and we weren't brave enough to try using it. No shampoo / conditioner / soap in the dispensers anyway. * Right next to the railroad tracks, so expect to hear the train rolling by a few times a night. Luckily they never honked their horns, but it definitely woke me up every time they passed with the vibration / clattering. Overall, not too bad. The mattress was fine, pillows were a little flat, but it was a nice space and was a good place to stay while we were in town. I just wish they could get rid of the cigarette smell!

The price for the room was very nice. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. $214 total. The room was clean, TV worked well, bed was comfortable. Water was hot and plentiful in the shower. The only item that bothered me was the noisy bath fan. It ran every time the bathroom light was switched on. It needs to be fixed or replaced. The property is not new, but well kept. Though could not get ice machine to work. It was pretty quiet even though it was on Main Street. Holiday Gas Station about 100 yards away. Great for coffee and snacks because the room had no coffee pot. The refrigerator worked well to keep drinks and snacks in. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a basic sleep, clean-up and relaxing time. The price versus quality was acceptable to us.
