This was the best hotel we stayed at. It looked amazing. Staff was friendly. The concept for food was second to none. My kids enjoyed the bedroom experience because of the bunkbeds and the location was absolutely stunning. I would definitely go back and I would highly recommend.

We had a mixed experience at the Jost Hotel Le Havre. Our family room was clean and comfortable and our two children were delighted with their bunk beds in the wall! We ate in the food court and all really enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The big negative for us was the music playing loudly until 2am which we could hear very clearly in our room, even though we were on the third floor! This didn’t make for a good nights sleep. We spoke to the receptionist about it and he pretty much shrugged his shoulders and said they needed to improve their noise insulation! So although some bits of our stay were good, we wouldn’t stay again. For us the noise was a real problem.

Room was spotless. Staff were helpful. The HVAC worked so well and sp quietly that I wasn't aware of it. The room is basic: no telephone and you need to bring a converter if you're from the States. The lighting took a bit to understand, but it is a great deal for the money.

Prepare to not sleep

Not suitable for families with young children. The food court and bar downstairs booms ridiculously loud music all the way through the evening till 2am every night! The rooms are not “soundproof” u can hear and feel the bass for hours on end and our kids couldn’t sleep. A hotel that doesn’t give you a good nights sleep cant be rated well im afraid.

Mein Zimmer A405 war schön und sauber. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof und Busbahnhof von Le Havre. Supermärkte, Bars und Restaurants sind ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt, und der Strand von Le Havre ist zu Fuß in 30 Minuten erreichbar. Ich hatte an der Rezeption nach einem ruhigen Zimmer gefragt und konnte keinen Lärm wahrnehmen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, besonders wenn es Probleme gibt. Nach dem Auschecken kann man sein Gepäck in einem Schließfach abstellen. Danke Sophie für dein großes Entgegenkommen! Ich empfehle das Hotel und würde gerne wieder dort übernachten.

Le dortoir était en très bon état, les lits du hauts sont a réserver aux enfants plutôt, car un peu compliqué d'accès. Personnel, agréable, bons équipements notamment le salon commun et la cuisine. Le gros point noir de notre séjour a été le bruit jusqu'à 1:40 du matin, lorsque je suis descendu à l accueil pour les avertir de mon mécontentement. Musique trop forte, bien que nous soyons hébergés au 2 ème. Vraiment passé une très mauvaise nuit, si 'ous devions renouveler l'expérience se serait à des étages supérieurs si cela nous permet de dormir en toute quiétude.
