Wonderfully relaxing and quiet holiday! The beach, the room and its restaurants were good and we even rented a car for a day and got out to the rainforest and waterfalls as well as swam with turtles!

The room was clean, the food at both restaurants was good, the staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast had lots of options, although I did wish they had an option for self serve for tea and coffee, it is just more accommodating to get it ourselves than to flag someone and wait for it. The beach is clean and the water is good for swimming, the beach chairs with shade is limited.

Customer Service Needs Improvement. We loss water for a few hours and the young girl at the front desk was pretty flippant telling me that “it’s normal” for this to happen. No apologies for the inconvenience. Unbelievable! To get to the building where my room was, I had to climb many steps and walk a short distance to get to the elevators. Very inconvenient. Common areas were hot. They should consider installing fans. Very uncomfortable. The bright spot was our friendly bartender Maika. Great customer service, outstanding mixologist.

This was our third trip to La Creole Beach hotel and we had a wonderful stay! The buffet food was terrific, the service was efficient, and the beach is always beautiful. You almost don't want to recommend this gem because what makes it great is that it is more laid back than a lot of traditional hotels in the Caribbean. You don't have to fight for a seat at the pool or beach and it really is the definition of relaxation on such a beautiful island.

Enjoyed my stay - great location

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I liked the included breakfast, the towel loans for the beach and the parking. The room was clean and nice. The best part was the access to the beach, it was nice if we chose to stay around the area, as well it was nice for a night walk. As well 5 min walk away from the hotel in front of the casino there were 4-5 small family owned restaurants 😃. The only negative for me was that my flight out was only at 5 pm and I asked for a late check-out at round 1:30-2:00pm and I was advised that it's 50% charge of one night. I understand if the hotel was at capacity but I checked and there were still free rooms possible to book.

Enjoyable short stay

I stayed one night with my 5-year-old son. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English, which made communication easy. The room floor was not the cleanest, but I didn’t mind. The hotel buildings and pool are not in the best shape. There is quite a renovation backlog. Hence a bit overprized, but overall, we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was very good and the service people there were also very nice and welcoming.

Friendly ish staff (depending which area, friendly overall but behind the bars). Bathroom v dated (tiles and sanitaries : bath and basin vanity), very poor AC (complained on how hot the temperature was in room so a nice electrician came and said it’s set at 24.4 degrees and that’s that!) therefore set much too high!! It made our stay difficult as it’s 32/34 degrees outside! The pool itself the one nearer to beach) seen better days ( really dirty where the liner meets the surrounding pavement), the ladder quite dodgy and a few tiles missing too. Definitely not a 4 stars, more like a 3! food buffet good and friendly staff in Reception and restaurant area.

Staff were friendly, room was clean and bright, good air con, no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Lovely gardens, lots of birds/chickens, good selection of food, but breakfast lacked "hot" food, bacon and sausages regularly cold. Nice freshly cooked omelettes. Lack of english spoken and menu translations, thank goodness for google translate. Rooms were serviced every day and there was an option for fresh towels and sheets if required. The access road is very poor and regularly floods with any rain. The hotel is in a great location if you have a car and want to explore the island. It's a nice place, but it's unlikey we'll return.
