“Nice location, quiet and peaceful. Accommodating (we needed any earlier breakfast). Had a nice me in restaurant, good value and convenient for a one night business stay.”

“Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

“Great location to take daughter to uni of York, very reasonable for the standard of the hotel and handy that they had an electric car charger. The breakfast could have been better (we had avo crumpet which was pretty mushy) but very minor issue.”

“All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Breakfast had good options but the scrambled egg on toast wasn’t great- should’ve done the full English! Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time.”
