Vacations Close To Las Vegas Natural History Museum

Hour wait to check in. Almost missed Penn and Teller.

Had a good experience everything was good no issues at all

The Orleans is apparently in the process of upgrading its hotel rooms. I believe that my room and my floor was redone sometime in the last year or so. It was pretty nice. I was somewhat taken aback that housekeeping apparently did not visit once during the four full days that I stayed at the property; as a result, I put my trash in a garbage can by the elevator bank on one occasion. It's worth noting that the Orleans, like many casinos, apparently offers no support for recycling any kind of paper or plastic. The hotel gift shop is conveniently located on the first floor near the elevator banks. I visited multiple times to pick up drinks and snacks. There is a decent coffee shop near the main entrance. The hotel has an exercise room, but the hours are linked to those of the hotel spa, and I did not visit. The pool area seemed nice but was closed for the season during my trip. I ate at two of the restaurants on site, Bailiwick and Ondori, and enjoyed both. The Orleans also has a large bowling alley, a movie theater and an arcade geared toward youngsters. The Orleans casino has a poker room with a well-trained staff. The room operates 24/7 and has multiple daily tournaments. Like many Las Vegas casinos, the Orleans allows smoking in numerous areas. The carpeting on the first floor has seen a lot of use. The Orleans is located about a mile west of “the Strip,” so be prepared to get a ride if you plan to visit Las Vegas Boulevard or any of the city‘s other attractions.
