YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE.

The people running it are the sweetest people around. The room itself was okish, very clean but dated. Honestly you get what you paid for. The reason I give it an extremely uncomfortable mark is because the area. Pretty low life type of vibe,Its seems to be a gang hangout spot. I had people try to open my door three different times throughout the night. Wasn't able to sleep knowing they tried to come in several times. YOU WILL NOT FEEL SAFE.

Crashed here for a night was way too pricey but it was a Friday, my foot was broke I was on the go all day…my only complaint was the towels smelt super old.

Not your preferred stay choice

Unpleasant experience would not recommend if you have other options. Although the room was clean, the service was terrible. I called ahead to advise I would be flying in late, when I check in they already charged my card and charged me again saying they will void other charge; this is a terrible inconvenience as it reduces available funds I can't imagine this could've screwed someone over if relying on funds. Check out is strictly at 11am, staff were pounding on the door 20 minutes before check out and didn't stop until we advised we're leaving soon. Beware they also require a $20 dollar cash deposit along with your paid reservation even if you already used a card.

Roaches, Stains, No Hot Water, No Coffee Pot

So I knew from the photo that this wasn’t going to be a fancy place, I knew that it was 2-stars and that I was saving money by being off the strip (still over $300 for two nights because it was Labor Day weekend!). Unfortunately, it was a disaster from the start. They weren’t expecting me in spite of my hotels.com reservation but ended up having a spare room thankfully, they wanted to charge me cash deposits on top of the fact that I paid with a credit card and they had my license, there was no hot water and then 2 minutes of hot water the two times I showered, I killed two roaches in my room, the mattress and pillows were terrible, and their white towels had yellow and brown stains on them. They have a big sign out front that says “No Refunds,” so, yeah, that’s the vibes. I’m glad this place has a many good reviews as it does, but I don’t see how. Oh, and there’s no coffee maker. Nothing like waking up in Vegas and having to walk three blocks to a gas station for a cup of coffee.

The motel was very easy to locate. The parking is easily accessed and located in front of the room. Check-in was extremely prompt and courteous. The room was immaculately clean. There is a small microwave and refrigerator that were very well maintained and clean. I give my highest recommendation for the Walden motel. There is no parking fee, no resort fee, and the area is very quiet.
