This casino embodies Las Vegas’ effort to become a more family, friendly destination. So there are lots of families and kids. Lots of things for them to do, although almost all of them cost money. My room was large and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint was that the air-conditioning unit was very loud and it was hot outside. Parking is great for Las Vegas. Lots of food options available in and outside the hotel.

We stayed in the family tower. Floor 28. Floor 29 last year. It was nice. Great view of the strip and the sphere. Decent prices. Free parking, can’t be that.

I knew the hotel was old but it's really rundown, especially compared to its sister property in Reno. I definitely kept my shoes on in the room. The bathroom was dingy and they couldn't even provide shampoo AND conditioner in the shower. It was a combo shampoo conditioner. I will say, the Adventuredome was pretty cool and the Midway also was fun and great for kids. If they could renovate the rooms and give the main casino areas a facelift, it could actually compete with the other newer hotels.

Definitely a family-friendly place -- if you're looking for a hot nightclub or a venue for a bachelorette party, then it's probably not your first choice. But the entire property is geared toward families with kids, with so much to do right on-site: amusement park inside the property, arcade and carnival games, free circus performances, pool area with an awesome water slide. For better or worse, it's a safe distance from the main Strip (need to take Uber to shows on the Strip). Free parking makes it easier to rent a car for day trips. Restaurant options are limited -- weekend buffet is very simple but cheap (no seafood or prime rib, though); Big Top Eats and Chicho's Tacos are decent, and Krispy Kreme is a plus in the mornings. Our room (West Tower) was clean and had a fridge and coffeemaker (fairly rare in Vegas). The entire staff was very courteous and helpful, from front desk to housekeeping to casino workers. This place is not the place to seek high-end luxury, but overall, the family atmosphere and on-site attractions made it an excellent choice.

We booked this hotel because we were traveling with our children. Unfortunately, the first room we were given was in very poor condition and honestly felt more like a shelter than a hotel room. The elevator was out of service, so we had to use the stairs, where we saw rats, we found dirty pillows, clothes on the floor, and leftover food. We immediately requested a room change, and thankfully, they moved us to another room on the other side of the hotel. The second room was much better and, for the price, it was okay. The best part of our stay was definitely the water park and the rides inside the hotel. Our kids enjoyed those. Keep in mind that the hotel is very large, so you will be doing a lot of walking. Overall, I would not stay there again. If you're traveling with children, I strongly recommend checking your room carefully when you arrive and requesting a change if the room is not clean or in good condition.
