My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of March to celebrate her birthday. We chose it for its location close to the Poema del Mar aquarium.
Having checked-in, we were allocated room 304 on the third floor. The room looked out onto the street where the hotel entrance was. Whilst small, there were adequate facilities for a two night stay, which included a fridge, tv, free standing fan, built in wardrobe with shelves and safe and two single beds. We found the beds comfortable and had no trouble sleeping.
The en suite had a bath with shower, loo and vanity basin. Sachets of shampoo, shower gel and soap was provided. One thing that was missing was a plug for the sink. We only had one bath towel, but one was provided on request when I went to reception. Water was hot and plentiful.
We opted for room only so cannot comment on the breakfast, However, we did have 2 good size pieces of cake with a tea and a coffee which was a very reasonable 6.50 euros. Also a bottle of Dorada black was 1.90 and a pint of Cruzcampo 3.00 euro, which for a hotel bar was good.
The lobby area had some comfy seats and a book swap.
We found all the staff helpful and polite.
The Poema del Mar is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, despite it being just accross the motorway, there is no faster way over. There were plenty of small bars and restaurants close by, but unfortunately, the weather restricted our use of them.
