Very family-friendly hotel. We were staying with two small children and received a large, beautiful room with ample space for the kids. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We already look forward to our next stay.

Perfect for our overnight stay to get to the ferry to Denmark. Room was large enough, bathroom was clean and good size. Good beds. To bad the window could not open further.

Old World Charm

The shared spaces and grounds of this place give the feeling of staying in a grand estate. The inn keeper is extremely helpful and kind. The property is older and our room was average, but our stay was made memorable by the lovely charm of the inn itself.

The hotel is vintage in age, design and decor - so different from "seen one, seen them all" modern facilities. Location is close to town but feels rural and a bit rustic - just what we look for in lodgings while on holiday. Staff went out of their way to be helpful (calling for taxis and food delivery when our phones wouldn't operate) and making suggestions for day trips in the area. They treated us like family! Be aware that the television might not work (high winds had disabled the connection while we were there) but wi-fi worked fine. We would certainly visit again!

Ble positivt overrasket over stedet. Greie rom og helt ok fasiliteter som man forventer på et gjestgiveri. Frokosten var mye bedre enn forventet. Sentralt sted. Bøkeskogen like utenfor inviterer til mange forskjellige aktiviteter. Mye for pengene.
