I can tell the Clarion was once a very nice hotel but seems to perhaps be under new management these days and has declined. The bathroom in the first room was not clean so I asked for another one. I spoke to Paul at the front desk and he was nice enough to give me a new room which was much cleaner.

Bathroom mirrors streaked, bathtub need to be caulked, paint peeling off room wall, shade in bad shape, checkin staff friendly, morning staff cranky, not a fan of food voucher or not being able to take it to my room with a person at the door to watch over you just made me uncomfortable. Building under constructing and material is scattered everywhere outside, with gigantic holes throughout parking lot. Outside doors to hallway are not locked. I did not get comfortable there at all

This hotel is poorly kept and very unclean. I would not recommend it. There is no housekeeping in between days. There are stains on every piece of linen in the room and I mean every piece. The “hot breakfast” was held in a room with three space heaters and that was the only thing in there that was hot. I would never recommend this hotel. The police were there twice. It is centrally located and staff was polite.

The hotel was disgusting. Run down, gross, broken stuff everywhere. Outdated (except for the bright and shiny sign out by the road) I can’t even begin to explain how gross this hotel is. Yuck.

Where to begin. Hot tub out of order with no indication on the website or booking sites. The pool area had broken roof panels so outaide wind and temps were blowing into the pool area.. meaning if you werent in the pool it was freezing. Parking lot spaces filled with construction debris.. cut up downed trees.. and empty pallets. Half of the hotel room in my wing were under construction. The hotel breakfast ends WAY too early so i cant tell you if it was good or not. The doors were extre.ely jeavu and not ADA complient. Very difficult to open.. especially when bringing in luggage. They kept a huge rubbermaid tote of sidewalk salt right in the doorway as well.. so incredibly difficult to open the door and bring in or take out luggage to and from the car. Parking lot is pretty much just potholes and mud. But i mean. At least i didnt see a bug in the room i suppose. Probably because the outdated wall hvac unit struggled to keep it above 60. Im surprised they dont rent this hotel by the hour.. if ya know what i mean.

Facility was run down when walking in. It looks okay nice but rooms run down and poorly kept batbroom shower had reminisce of previous guest hair. The pool was okay kept had mold around the window just the slightest and many broken items around the hotel and multiple leaks around the hotel as well.

Check in lady had a cough and could not or did not know how to cover her mouth. The ceilings in the hallways were molded and falling down. When we went to the continental breakfast you had to have a voucher and they did not allow you to go in and eat and take your coffee with you, I think that’s a little over the top being it was not a grand breakfast that you would need a voucher for! The outside was dirty and they had carpet and junk laying all over! Was not happy!

That place should be shut down. There are rooms that have no doors, there are rooms that have cracked windows, bathtubs with broken knobs and cold water and the just goes on. Never again. This hotel used to be a great place to stay. I was worried about my safety as well.

The property is very run down, old and out dated. The bathroom smelled like pee, the tub didn’t drain and was stained, shower curtain dirty. A/C was very loud, hall ways smelled like weed and the bathroom light turned on and off all night. It looks like the property is under construction but the inside and outside is gross. Would not stay there again and very over priced.

The building is under construction, Pool and hot tub are closed. The roof leaks, including in our room. Buckets in the hallways. The front desk staff originally told us she didn’t have our reservation, we had to come back and show our reservation. Our view from the hotel room looked like a war zone. Staff are not in uniform.

Doesn’t look like the pictures at all , only 1 elevator . Rooms are scary looking with nasty carpet , bathrooms are small and old . Rust all over the shower head . The pool area was even scarier . The bottom of the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly in 5+ years . Never again .

The staff was friendly. Our whole hallway smelled like pot. The room had marks on the bedding, in the shower there was hair in the corner of the shower, rust marks everywhere in the bathroom, the blind was all stained. The hallways were dark, tv had very poor quality picture. Very uneasy feeling. The pictures when you book look amazing but they are very deceiving.

I stay here often, but the main reason is for the access and the price it’s a work in progress. It’s a huge hotel much bigger than the area at the Giants so I can only imagine a huge fixed cost associated. They are restoring the building. It was in pretty rough condition but they’re doing a good job. It just takes a long time For the meantime there’s no direct number to reach the front desk so I have to give service a downgrade the people are very nice when you get a hold of them and accommodating, but you have to track them down like I said forget about reaching on my phone. The design and the upkeep of the hotel are right out of 1979 kind of dark and dingy, but not unacceptable in terms of the cost . The room themselves have been updated nicely, except for the bathroom. They need work, especially the tub in the shower, plumbing.

Property is right across the road from Horrocks and there’s plenty of dining and shopping areas nearby. Our first tome staying here and while we probably wouldn’t stay again it wasn’t too disappointing, just not what we normally stay at. The room as clean but it’s dated and the hallways need some attention and there was an unusual smell in the hallway. The hot tub was in repair and while there was a pool it looked like it was closed off too as there wasn’t a single person in it.
