What a pleasant stay! Nice attentive staff, outstanding, well-designed and comfortable rooms. I moved from another 4+ star hotel in Lansing to The Graduate because of a previous visit. There is an outstanding rooftop bar with outdoor seating. Plus you have ample restaurants, bars, and MSU right in front of you. I highly recommend The Graduate.

We stayed here after our wedding. We were worried as we would be checking in after midnight. We tried to communicate this with the staff but some of them were very rude. Check-in did go smoothly, though. But not an exceptionally friendly atmosphere. Very nice room!

The parking for check-in was difficult. There was no where to park to check-in. The valet made me give him my keys to hang on to for the 5 mins then I had to wait for them to be given back. The road/car noise from the 3rd floor room was terrible. They need better sound proofing. We couldn't fall asleep until after 1:00am. It was like there was a reacetrack outside our window. I would highly recommend against staying in room 315 or anywhere near the road. It's unfortunate because the hotel is very nice, the room was large and comfortable, and everything was clean.
