“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. “The check in was fairly simple with the codes sent via messages. There was nobody at the property whilst we were there if we did have a problem. Parking is good. The room was advertised to have included breakfast, which was supposed to be a food hut outside, however this was closed on the day went to have breakfast there. The room was really hot as it doesn't have air conditioning. It's alright for a cheap stay on business but in hindsight would have gone for a different budget hotel.”
