🍇We really enjoyed our stay at Johannishof. The hotel is spread across three buildings: the main building with the restaurant, Building 26 with rooms and the sauna, and another building across the street. The private sauna was a highlight—€30 for 1–2 people, and free by prior arrangement between 12:00–19:00, which was wonderful. Free parking. Just a few minutes to Trier and about 25 minutes to Luxenbourg. The wine tasting experience was excellent and very welcoming, even for non–wine experts, and the wine vending machine was a fun touch. Dinner was very good, and breakfast included yogurt, cream cheese, breads, and meats. We stayed in the Kerner Room (303), perfect for a family of three, with a sunroom, extra sofa bed, and doors opening to a yard with a swing. Note: no kettle or in-room coffee. Warm hospitality, great wine, and a relaxing stay—highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel with restaurant and wine options. Breakfast buffet was traditional German, which I love. If you love to bike or hike this location has many options. We were conveniently located to Trier. The owner was very friendly and willing to give advice. Extensive wine list! We arrived late and staff was willing to round up some food in the kitchen for us. Highly recommend and will be returning. I recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, a “body wash- shampoo- conditioner” combo was provided but I prefer separate products.

Godt udgangspunkt for et besøg i Trier

Et hyggeligt lille sted med et par gæstehuse og en god restaurant. Langsur er en lille by, og vi boede i et gæstehus lige overfor restauranten. Der var "Ruhezeit" fra kl. 22.00 og det blev respekteret af restaurantens gæster. Morgenmaden var fin. Vi kommer gerne igen

Togs emot väldigt trevligt och de visade var vi kunde ställa bilen. Rummet enkelt med en balkong där vi satt i solen innan vi gick till restaurangen. De såg till vi fick fina vinglas med oss upp på rummet när vi köpte oss en flaska vin att prova innan middagen. Restaurangen hade god mat, vi åt wienersnitzel. Stor portion. Goda viner. Frukost fanns men vi hade inte bokat det.

Fijn verblijf!

Erg fijn verblijf. Aardige mensen. Zeer nette staat. Prima ontbijt, wel elke dag hetzelfde. Cappuccino mogelijk, maar tegen een meerprijs. In de ochtend vragen ze al netjes of je in de avond komt eten in het restaurant. Reserveren echt nodig, bizar druk! Als je dus s' avonds terugkomt, dan moet je blij zijn dat je nog kunt parkeren. Goede uitvalbasis voor je bezoek aan luxemburg en duitsland.

Fein aber umständlich

Rezeption von 15 - 18 Uhr ist schwierig, wenn man bis 19 Uhr arbeiten muss. Restaurant und Hotel fein, aber alles etwas "umständlich". Restaurant war allerdings sehr voll, damit war der Service schleppend und die Parksituation schwierig (da keine reservierten Plätze für Hausbewohner). Zur Tischreservierung im Restaurant haben wir gegensätzliche Auskünfte bekommen - Tisch muss reserviert werden, uch bei Hausgästen.
