It was a lovely Inn/hotel close to the river walk and right on the main street. The room was large for our group of 4 adults and a blind dog. The bar and outside area was great. The owner was very accommodating as we brought in fish and chips and ate in the bar area and had drinks from the bar. We were visiting Chedder Gorge and Glastonbury and so glad we stayed there....absolutely would again.

Easy check in, nice guy behind the bar and the room was very clean. It was just a bit dated, but the pub obviously is full of history, so maybe the room suits the surroundings.

The place is beautiful with furniture and decor to reflect older time periods. The bedding smelt fresh. The TV worked perfectly in a little cupboard. It had a very homely feeling. The room was a nice size. The shower lip had some mould on it and the room smelt very musty when we initially went in. I would recommend opening some windows during the day to air it out - it was fine once the windows were open. Staff were really helpful. The room was nice and cool, despite the warm weather.

Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful .

Staff were generally friendly. The room was very dated - it looked tired and rather grubby. We were alarmed to see extension cables and exposed electrical wiring. The bed clothes were old & not inviting. There was no enclosed shower. The bathroom looked to be from the 70’s/80’s. The TV in the room had an alarm feature which unbeknown to us had been programmed to go off at 5.30am and 7.30 am - this was not appreciated! The cooled breakfast was good.

The room was small and the water from the shower accumulated and stayed right in front of the toilet. Did not even dry up all the evening. The breakfast was expensive. The place was under renovation so the entrance was though a back door.
