“This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Dining is surprisingly good (my husband is a gourmet chef so he should know) as is the service! We couldn't ask for more but got it thanks to the friendliness of the owners. They are ever present and offer great advice (as well as conversation) for a fulfilling experience. We were sincerely sad to leave and hope to return in the future...”

“Resumidamente, volvería mil veces más. La ubicación es excelente, sientes que estás en el paraíso. La piscina es soñada y es como estar dentro de una montaña pero al frente del hotel. Solo una observación que en el restaurante tendría más variedad y precios un poco accesibles, dado que prácticamente comes ahí 3 veces. Me encantó que dieran la posibilidad de llevar las botellas del licor favorito de uno. Para estadías de 8 días ayudaría poder usar al menos al almuerzo la cocina compartida, así...

“Surfhouse pavones is located steps from the beach allowing several surf sessions a day. There is a cafe restaurant next door with unreal smoothies. A little market right up the street has it all. The rooms at the surfhouse were clean and the kitchen has everything including a view of pavones. A lot of woodwork and art at the surfhouse and plenty of room for surfboards. The owner is laid back, accommodating and knowledgeable to make the experience unforgettable.”

“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

“It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks.
