Stayed in a beachfront villa 21 and it was amazing. Location was perfect. Had shade from the trees to escape the sun but direct access to the beach. Located between Horizons bar and the restaurant. Staff was very personable. Jat was our Butler and he made us feel welcomed and was always there if we had a request. All the staff was exceptional to be honest!!

We really enjoyed our family stay at Ritz Carlton Langkawi with our toddler. The room was impressive (very spacious, clean, ocean views - one of the nicest rooms we’ve stayed in), breakfast buffet was amazing and the hotel was very kid friendly. We appreciated the little things that customer service thought of - one day we came back to our room and there was a kids tent in the room! These little thoughtful touches made our stay memorable and I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come again!

My wife and I stayed at Ritz Carlton Langkawi for 3 nights and would rate it one of the best luxury hotels we had stayed so far. Room was very spacious, with unique design, located in rainforest terrain and I really enjoyed perfect view of the blue-green sea from our room balcony. As the rooms, villas and various facilities are scattered across the rainforest, we moved around by hotel buggy and the atmosphere and experience was truly holiday-like. Hotel staff are amazing. They are very polite, greet you everywhere and always offering helps. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much

This hotel is pure luxury and we enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff are unbelievably friendly at all times. They make such an effort to be personable and will subtly offer to help with things before you even get the chance to ask! We chose to upgrade to an ocean villa which was absolutely stunning. Completely secluded in a beautiful setting. Wildlife all around and the most tranquil view of the sea outside the villa. The food and drink were amazing and even though the adults only pool/bar was closed for maintenance, the hotel opened two normally private villas with fairly large pools which we could enjoy. These were super quiet and the staff were continuously bringing us snacks and complimentary drinks (as well as food and drinks from the beach bar if we needed!). The breakfast was brilliant and the restaurant was picturesque, nestled into the trees. There was even a great gym and lovely areas to walk around. We had the absolute best time at this resort. It felt like a mini paradise and although it is not cheap, we felt it was worth every single penny. The small touches made everything even more special. We hope to be back one day!

Island bliss

Blissful stay, staff were cheerful and extremely keen to make one's stay enjoyable. Idyllic location. Our rainforest villa was very private, cleverly architected and comfortably laid out inside. The private splash pool was larger than I expected. The only improvement i can think of would be to have an adjustable parasol by the sun loungers (they were just too hot to use for quite a lot of the day). Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite. Throughout the trip we were greeted by friendly staff who remembered our names. The restaurants are fantastic, great food and views. I’d recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone who asked me - best experience we’ve ever had!!

Beautiful room and breakfast was great. The problem I have is our room was just opposite the restaurant and in the morning and late afternoon, staffs were shouting to each other. Check in was slow . But lobby staff were friendly and helpful.

A wonderful property with an outstanding team. Special kudos to the spa staff who were exceptionally caring and professional throughout my stay. The villa itself was impressive—spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed. However, it was incredibly disappointing to find that the private pool was not heated, making it completely unusable. Had I known in advance that the water would be so cold, I would have chosen a different type of room. A missed opportunity in an otherwise excellent experience.

Everything about our stay was absolutely incredible—from the warm and attentive service, to the spacious and beautifully designed room, to the pristine cleanliness, the crystal-clear sea, and the outstanding food. Staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi had been a dream of mine for years, and the experience exceeded all expectations. It truly felt like a dream come true. The highlights for me were definitely the dining and the service. At the Chinese restaurant "Hai Yan", the stir-fried dishes, shrimp with spicy sauce, and meat were hands down the best I’ve ever had at any hotel restaurant. At The Beach Grill, the grilled meat and coconut sundae were simply unforgettable. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature and watching the sun slowly set over the horizon right from our table made for an unforgettable evening. The level of hospitality was truly next-level—unlike anything I’ve experienced before. In the heat, a staff member brought us fresh fruits along with a handwritten welcome message, and even during a sudden downpour, everyone remained kind and cheerful. I was deeply touched by their genuine warmth and care. This is a hotel I’ll absolutely return to. A truly special place that I’ll never forget.
