Nice hotel on a walking distance to Patai Cenang and Patai Tenang. Patai Tenang beach is 5 mniutes walk and it is a better and quiter beach than Patai Cenang. People at the hotel are very kind and breakfast is very good.

Our second visit to the Bayou hotel was just as good as the first. The staff were incredibly welcoming and again we were given vouchers for free welcome drinks. This time our room was larger and just as clean and well equipped. There is a basket of snacks and treats in each room, all free.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful and even organised transport to a local spa for massages which were very good value. Our room was air conditioned, cleaned daily and toiletries, towels and drinking water were also replenished. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. There was a 15 minute walk into the touristy beach area but that suited us. The bar and restaurant food were reasonably priced and available until late. The pool was a haven in the heat with poolside food and drinks available. We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

We thought the customer service here was excellent. Very attentive staff. It was the small things that were appreciated, movie nights, free popcorn, cold fruit sticks, live music nights, kite flying. Relaxing by the pool without loud thumping music. Varied and tasty breakfast options. We spent a week here and are glad that we opted for the larger deluxe super king room. Thanks for a great week.
