“The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was very hot when we stayed and there was no aircon in the room, however they did provide fans to provide some comfort. The Breakfast was excellent.”

“Beautiful friendly historic location. Excellent food, comfortable quiet rooms and a decent size car park. Service was great and the WiFi was good. Sir Francis Drake used to live nearby for history buffs. Deep in the Tamar Valley AONB there's much to enjoy. Phone signal is shaky in Milton Combe.”

“Lovely and relaxing Great place for us only 6/7min. From our daughter as we came to visit We would of loved if was air-conditioning in rooms, but as we had fans in your room was very helpful in the hottest day/nights. When fans are quiet, we did have one loud fan on one occasion we stayed But overall great place brilliant breakfast & food , staff very perlite,welcoming and helpful ,views fabulous we would definitely stay again Thank you horn of plenty Mr & Mrs Matthews”
