Okay, so I’ve stayed at this hotel many times. Over the last year this place has gone down hill. They are currently painting rooms. There is paint everywhere. On the light and bathroom fixtures. The back stair well must have a significant leak somewhere. They have a fan blowing the carpet in the stair well. There is obvious signs of mold on the carpet. Not sure what happened here. But it’s definitely not the same place. Won’t be coming back.

I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in New Holland Pa. The first night was ok except for the shower tub drain not draining well it took almost 10 minutes to clear out. On our second night stay, we returned to a dirty uncleaned room. The beds were unmade, tub was dirty, garbage was not emptied, no clean towels were provided. We went to call the front desk and the phone was not working. We walked downstairs and spoke to the night manager who brought up towels and told us that the room wasn't cleaned b/c a member of house keeping called out sick. She told us she'd leave a message for the manager. So my family got to sleep on dirty beds and my wife had to clean out the tub so we could take showers. This was especially disturbing as we had our two young children with us. The next morning as I walked up to the front desk and said checking out of room 201 the front desk person Kuman asked how my stay was, at this point I knew things were only going to get worse. I said you didn't get the message? He said he didn't get a message or note from the night time manager. Also, standing next to him was Sandra the head housekeeper. I told her how we were told that someone called out and that was why our room wasn't cleaned. She said no, no one called out. The reason the room wasn't cleaned was because you have to request to have it cleaned. I said I have never heard of such a thing, what am I paying for? and where does it say that? No mention of that at booking or a sign.

I had a good breakfast of waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage links, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. There were other options as well. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

It appears the facility is under new management or ownership, because the quality of the rooms and hallways are getting run down. Cleanliness is also down from where it used to be. This used to be a preferred location for my trips to the area, but now it will not be my first choice.

The location was great! Had problems till 11 pm kids screaming and running the halls slamming doors. The room was something out of the 70’s . Shower had a curtain not a liner and flooded the bathroom when you took a shower. Paint was on the furniture and the floor. It just needs a major overhaul.

If you need towels you have to ask, they do not tend to your room. The curtains barely cover the windows. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. And you had ample time to get up and get there. I think till 11:00. Always had coffee and lemon water in lobby. I would stay there again.
