“My main problem was sorted once I reported it, but it was an unusual scenario, I believe, in that my room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The manager was superb in accepting my observations and promised to get the room cleaned by housekeeping the following day whilst I was out (I stayed for 2 nights). “Stay was fine - bed was comfortable enough, woken up around 6am because the floor boards creaked so much when the upstairs guests were moving about. Floor boards also creaked in our room - really annoying more than anything. Breakfast was fine - continental breakfast selection was nice, ordered cooked breakfast was a bit cold, thought it would have been fresh but seemed to be taken from a cool enough hot plate.”
