What a lovely location in the Douro valley. The concierge was very helpful. The pool and amenities were all included. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Portugal so far.

The rooms modern. Bed very comfy. View excellent and nice and peaceful. Was not keen on breakfast would have preferred self service buffet. Was not keen on evening meal far too fancy. Bar service was great very nice wine. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would stay again.

We loved this hotel, close to all the amazing vineyards, including its own which you must suit. Just in the other side of the bridge to the city which has many amazing restaurants.

We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great.

Excellent hotel, first impression very good the reception team, due to our Platanium membership upgraded the room. They also helped in staying an extra night and keeping same room and arranging a wine tasting and lunch at the hotels winery 10 minutes away. Bar and restaurant serve great food and drinks and you can look over the Duoro river from both, and also eat and drink on the terrace. Rooms comfy and spacious - fabulous hotel to explore the Duoro - Pinhao is just 25 mins drive away. We had a great time here

The hotel is very walkable to Regua which made eating at the local restaurants and participating in wine tours easy. The hotel has incredible views. There was limited warm water and our first floor rooms had a faint odour. The bed mattresses could be better.
