“I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the limited choice at breakfast. Only cooked breakfast which I don't eat and no cereals, porridge or fruit etc.”

“Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. “The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!”

“The property was lovely. We stayed in room 9 as it was located on the ground floor and I use a wheelchair, plenty of room. We had a snack Friday evening and it was lovely food. The staff were very friendly, chatty and accommodating. Easy to find. Definitely will stay here again.”
