Lovely place to stay which is a short drive from the town centre. If you want to stay at a place that’s different to your average motel/hotel then this is the place for you & Lynn the host was lovely.

The Host of the house was fantastic & very friendly. The property in itself is a piece of art. Just staying in was an experience. Very comfy rooms & the ocean view from the top penthouse was just mesmerising. The host prepared an excellent breakfast with fresh fruits. Everything in this house was strictly vegan. Lots of colourful birds were visitors of this beautiful villa. The only advise is to keep your luggage light as there are only stairs to move up & down this property.

An outstanding property! The penthouse is HUGE and fantastic value for money. I was very lucky to get it, as it is almost always booked out. Owner is a beautiful lady, who looks after the property and guests equally well. The breakfast was included, another tick. I don=t think I have ever had better value for money.

Best Weekend Away

The stay and service at the Goat and Goose Bed and Breakfast was one of the best weekend aways my partner and I have had. The rooms are charming and comfortable, and the attention and kindness of the owner is something you won’t find even in a 5 star hotel. The hot breakfast cooked right next to you are delicious a filling. Could not recommend this place enough for your next getaway to Lakes Entrance

Charming B&B with a great view

Funky bed and breakfast with a nice view, rooms are quirky but clean and functional. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but filling and great to start the day exploring Lakes Entrance with a full belly. Overall, a nice change from the roadside motels we've been staying at, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay for one night at the goat and goose,out host met us on arrival.we stayed in the penthouse,which was so spacious very quirky and clean space,the seaview was amazing and the ambience was so relaxing.

We decided to book accommodation for our anniversary rather than camping...our host was very welcoming on our arrival and during our stay. Lovely room, with our own private balcony and a spa bath. Breakfast was included ( continental) or you could have a vegan cooked breakfast ( my husband did on our last morning and we got it as a gift for free, normally $15 extra) It's a very peaceful and tranquil spot. You won't be disappointed

Comfortable surprise with an amazing view

We had the most amazing view from our room and balcony. It was not what I expected at all - so many things in the room that we never had to leave! Spa bath, microwave, fridge, outdoor area all to ourselves. It was a lovely end to our car trip that day. So quirky and so comfortable!

The view was nice ; the reviews containing. the word “quirky” certainly weren’t joking , the heater didn’t work properly and area to heat was huge as manly glass all around , , the “spa bath” / shower was the only place to shower (with out a curtain to avoid splashes )and situated in the middle of the room.:and wasn’t very inviting .: The “free continental breakfast “ was a bit of a joke and could hardly be called that , the free wifi did not work in our cabin ..maybe on a hot summers night it would feel better, the veranda not really safe for small children .: if it was cheaper you wouldn’t mind so much , but for $182 a night it seems disappointing ./ apart from the non working wifi it cleverly had everything it advertised , by it was deceptive as the facilities advertised usually are associated as luxury items like spa bath, and built up the expectations but the lay out and delivery of the promised items lead to disappointment :: ok for a quick stop over , but hardly the luxurious cabin you expect when booking it .
