“Unlike our previous stays here, we were accommodated in room 26 at the rear of the main building which gave the appearance of what may have been the original owners servants bedroom. Room was subject to noise from people sitting on adjacent stairway playing loud radio and room while very small had a bathroom constructed within it but without an enclosed ceiling within the room which tended to enhance the noised coming from the bathroom to the balance of the accommodation.. We stayed there again...

“There were cooking facilities which were good, but no oil or salt. A lot of the pans did not work on the induction. The location was convenient and the staff were helpful, providing a cot for us on request.”

“Nice size cabin for family of 4, quiet suburb, close enough to river to go for a walk - which we did. Shops down the road if you have a car, can use the pool at the leisure centre during the winter.”
