This is a very modern hotel and probably the best place to stay near Lake Tekapo in recent years. The room was spotless, and the shower was well-maintained with no signs of mold at all.

Beautiful modern hotel with a gorgeous view of the mountains and lake. Comfy bed and great shower. Just a few minutes walk to everything LakeTekapo has to offer. I would stay hear again in a heartbeat. One thing that would be a nice addition would be bigger ice trays in the unit or an ice machine on the property.

We had such a great stay! The hotel was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing and one of our favorite parts. Grand Suites Lake Tekapo – Outstanding stay This was one of our favorite stays. The suite was large, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with a great sense of openness. The kitchenette had everything you’d need for a proper stay — and the bathroom and shower were especially impressive: modern, spacious, and very well finished. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and clearly designed with comfort in mind. Location is also excellent — easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the lake, and all the main sights in Tekapo.
