Hotel was a great experience. Nice view of the Mountains and city in the night. Rooms were spacious and living room was pretty big for kids to crawl and play. I didn’t realize I had stayed here before, but you can definitely tell the rooms have been upgraded—they felt fresh and comfortable. The Ridge Sierra also shares amenities with another nearby resort just a few minutes away, and there’s a convenient shuttle that can pick you up anytime. The indoor/outdoor pool was a lifesaver—it kept my kids entertained the whole time. They also offer activities for both kids and adults, which was a nice bonus. Plus, it’s only about 9 minutes from the gondola, making it a great location overall.

The room was great. We had the bottom floor and my husband counted more than 50 steps to get down to it from the parking lot. I think that’s a must know before booking. The view was breathtaking & loved that there was a fireplace for a cozy stay. I appreciated that the rooms were locked behind an iron gate that needed the key to enter. The front desk is virtual and you have to talk to someone from a screen. Overall great stay, my husband loved it and would like to be back again someday.

The inside was actually very good, clean and spacious. The stairs need some repair, some felt like they would break loose when stepping on them. Paint and or finish was needed in several places outside the building.

Overall a good room for the late spring. Only issue we had was the WiFi not working. Not a deal breaker but when we check out just made mention that the WiFi wouldn’t take the password was told “oh well it probably just switch over to a new password and your checking out so it’s not that big of a deal now”

The only downside was that the WiFi signal was very bad on the bottom floor. It kept going on and off all the time. Other than that, the property was clean and quiet. View was amazing! We weren’t able to find the indoor swimming pool and gym in the images provided in the listing.
