The beach view was great. The room was somewhat small. Our friends had a non lake view and it was a much larger room…so keep that in mind when booking! We had 2 kids with us so a bigger room would have been nice. But it you’re alone or a couple traveling, the lake view room would be great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The the hotel shuttle was a big help getting us around so we didn’t have to pay for rides.

We used to live this property as it used to allow dogs in the bar area (and we have eaten at the bar as well as the area next to it many times in the past with our dog) - unfortunately they did not allow this anymore - we therefore went to Maggie’s restaurant at the desolation hotel nearby which was perfect in allowing dogs at dinner. In the fire will book that hotel instead of the Landing.
