Great property to stay. Close to Lakeside beach and the hotel also provides you with the free entry passes. Also close to heavenly village and gandola. Park you car at the property and take a e-bike to go around . They also have a in-house cafe.

I loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful giving us great tips for our stay. This hotel had the best amenities out of all the places I’ve stayed before they have so many fun things going on every day, but my favorite was the s’mores every night. It was also fun to ride a scooter to heavenly Village right down the street every day. The hotel definitely made it a memorable trip. I was also surprised when I got there to find out that we get free private beach access that comes with staying in the property, we would go every night to watch the sunset. I’m definitely staying here. Next time I come as it was affordable and a great place to stay!

Picked this property for its proximity to concert venue and lake, and because it had a pool/spa. Room was okay, a bit cramped for 4 of us so would consider other room options next time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Appreciated the complimentary beach passes, parking, and other amenities.

The property is unique . The Lakeside beach access was great and the walk to heavenly village was nice. The neighborhood was a bit ghetto or rowdy with lots of college kids filling up the nearby budget motels right before Fourth of July. The room was a bit too dim and needs better lighting. And the toilet seat was heated but oddly not well attached to the toilet.

Loved that they are dog-friendly. Front desk/bar server gal working the night shift on Saturday, 6/27 was not very pleasant. She seemed annoyed the two short interactions I had with her. The boys enjoyed the smores’ treat. Bummed the hot tub was not working but still had to pay the “resort fee”. Good location, 10 min walk to Target, Starbucks and plenty of restaurants.

We had a great stay at the Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff worked hard to make sure guests had everything they needed. The only minor inconvenience was that our room was located across from the main office, so it took a little extra time to walk over whenever we needed something. The pool was nice and clean, although it is on the smaller side. There were about 8–10 people using it at one point, and it felt a bit crowded. What really stood out was the location. It’s within walking distance of Heavenly Village, restaurants, shops, and other attractions, so we hardly had to drive. The price was also much more reasonable compared to many of the nearby hotels, making it a great value. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Coachman Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay in South Lake Tahoe.
