Pepper tree is the perfect place for a trip to Tahoe where you plan to only be at the hotel for sleep and rest. Right next to the lake. 15 min from Olympic valley. This place never disappoints

Had a great mothers day stay. Parkimg was excellent the room was quiet. Everything was walkable. Shops,food,etc. the lady who helped me at the front desk was awesome and so nice. So i def would referr this place. Such a great trip!

The Pepper tree is a great spot in Tahoe City if your are looking for a no frills affordable spot it stay while you Ski Palisades and Alpine meadows. The PT is a quick 10 min drive to the base parking lot at Palisades. No hot tub but still a great place. Staff was great, as well.

OK, this property is in need of some repairs (especially the stairways!), but the rooms were clean & comfortable & even though the desk was only manned gor a limited amount of hours, the staff was very helpful. Dining option accross the street on the lake was lovely.
