We booked The Ambassador through Expedia and had a great experience. The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well kept. It made our stay in Lake Tahoe relaxing and easy. Clean room, friendly staff, and great location. It's walking distance to Heavenly Ski resort, to restaurants, and to shops in the main street of Lake Tahoe. It's also walking distance to the Casinos. The only complain I have is that the walls are very thin - we can hear the people talking in the other room. We just got lucky that they weren't partying during our stay.

The price and location were good. Close to heavenly village and the lake within walking distance, just a basic motel room though. I will not be returning due to the heaters/furnace units being so LOUD, this was ridiculously loud and woke me up multiple times. It sounded like a loud bang against the wall/floor. The office door even had a sign about the noise being not a concern. The noise also startled me when I was fully awake. There are also no AC units to keep in mind during the summer.

We liked the location, the room was insulated, everything was very clean and comfortable. However, the neighbors were so noisy and you felt like you were in their room with them. We also had a broken thermostat and the larger of the two windows would not open. Everything else about the room was great. It felt safe, clean, and I would stay there again, but make sure we had a room with a working thermostat, less neighbors, and windows that opened.
