The room was great! Clean and overlooking the pool and the lake, it’s definitely a popular place because we were waiting in line for check in for a while but have no regrets. We also booked the dinner cruise on the MS Dixie and were picked up/dropped off at the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel and the dinner cruise!

The amenities and rooms were nice, new and clean. The cafe was nice - great Starbucks coffee offerings and ice cream. The pool was not heated which surprised me since Tahoe doesn’t get that warm most of the year.

We stayed in the sunset tower so it was very convenient being right by the parking lot so it was easy in and out. Golden nugget formally planet hollywood isthe best choice among the 4 bigger casinos on the south shore. We have stayed at all of them. The room was good size , clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was small and the shower Its currently going through many renovations but the upgrades that they have made are great. They have added Bill's sports book and Maestros steak house. The hot water for showering was hit or miss

We arrived at Golden Nugget because we could not get through Hwy 50. Staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were so nice and helpful! Hotel is goinjg through renovations but did not hinder and of our stay.
