The location was everything! A few minutes walk to Mirror Lake, shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream, and trails around the lake. Since parking costs a premium within Lake Placid, this was a major perk. Second, staff was a text away and showed up at our room to walk us to the newly relocated firepit with Adirondack chairs under the starry sky. Would 100% stay here again. Directly next door to Fratelli's pizza and what a great value compared to pricy spots in Lake Placid.

Property is beautifully designed. Looks like the lounge will be a nice place to relax once it is finished. Back patio was being utilized by guests enjoying themselves. Owners were kind and helpful, and accommodating with a request we made which was so appreciated! We will definitely return.

Be aware that the beautiful pictures of wide open living spaces are not available to most. When you rent a room - that is all you get. No beautiful common area that I saw myself sitting & reading in. Also - the Mountain View that I got was out 1 window and only a peek between a house roof and a tree. Aside from that, my room was clean and that was my biggest concern.
