Stunning view of Whiteface, large walkable property. Family owned and run which we appreciate. Rodger was friendly and enured that we knew how to reach him. Check in was fast and easy.

Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! P.S. The room was so comfortable - a mix of ADK elegance and nostalgic usefulness!

The owners are great and very helpful. The view out your front window is amazing. There is no pool but the grounds are very nice and they have fires at night and you can watch tv outside by the fire. We'll go back for sure

I We’re still here but the staff has been great! We came in late at night because of the storm and they stayed up waiting for us. Very thoughtful and a much welcomed oasis in the storm. The room was warm and clean when we arrived, couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

Lovely little no frills motel. The room was clean, the staff, while minimal, was pleasant and helpful. Incredible view of the mountain. Quiet area, a bit of a drive to lake placid and restaurants (25ish mins or so). Very dated though. Most outlets didnt have grounding (two prongs), peeling paint and wallpaper, old and lumpy matress. It is an economical choice, though, and id stay again.

The staff was lovely, the site right in front of whiteface mountain! Lovely grounds to picnic, daily bonfires, game room for teens and kids.. Rundown room ( stained uneven ceiling tiles, paint spots on walls) pulled out the sheets and found dirt on the mattress cover…

It was freezing cold when we entered the room as the heater was not on. It took more than an hour to just get to 60F with a heater. Very small TV and no remote control can be found. The entire room just looks very out dated. The owner is friendly though, brought the heater, remote control and extra sheets with just a call.

Our family stayed here on a ski trip to Whiteface. The hotel is across the street from the mountain and is a great base camp, especially when you’re skiing with kids and have a lot to prep/do to get ready! We were here during a very large snow storm and the driveway was plowed and accessible even with the constant snow dumping! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice base camp away and will spending most of your time outdoors. Beautiful view of the mountain!
