We had a fantastic stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and had all amenities we needed. Breakfast was above average. It is situated in a prime location as well. Being that we were primarily there to ski at Whiteface, it was a short 15 minute drive. Everything in the town of Lake Placid is within minutes. Would highly recommend!

Property looked nice but there is some false advertising. We booked a room with "lake view" but got a room with view to a wall and the street. When asked, was told that "they did not have another room at that price". The room was very comfortable and nice. But cleaning needs improvement. The towels did not smell fresh, in fact, I wondered what kind of soap they use because the bath towels were clean, but smelled awful.

I liked everything about this hotel. Big rooms, great location, nice breakfast area offering tea and coffee all day, nice breakfast. The only downside was that the bedsheets could have been of better quality. However we will definitely stay there again when visiting Lake Placid.

Friendly staff. Good amenities. There’s no sound proofing at the hotel at all. It’s very loud every time anyone open or closes a door. Hallways are very tight. Room entrances are directly across each other making it feel even more cramped.

Very clean but bordering on sterile. Lobby not a place to sit and relax- 10 feet from front desk and cold with constant front door opening. Very european sleek. TV received 4 to 5 channels- they said due to Lake Placid poor reception. Went to hotel next door- lobby beautiful, no TV issues whatsoever. Normally don't worry about TV if there is a lobby to read with fireplace. Room- No bathroom fan, one chair to sit in, refrigerator and safe in closet. Continental breakfast ample with many choices. We like cozy and this was not.
