The location and views from the hotel were great. The name Grandview matches with the experience. The one issue we had was that the tub in our room didn't drain very well, which made showering unpleasant. As of June 2026 there was a lot of construction going on in the hotel. They were renovating the rooms in our part of the hotel. While it didn't impact us much, it still took away from the experience. Staff was very friendly.

4th of July hidden gem on a hill!! Did not know the hotel was under construction, which was not really a big problem because the pool was still open, but the parking lot was taken up by many construction vehicles and workers. The air conditioner in our room did not work at night, but as soon as 9 AM hit, it turned itself on. The room was clean. They allow dogs and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Love the view the restaurant had good drinks and snacks and being able to see Fourth of July fireworks was a huge plus.
