This was a lovely stay - the room was clean & the bed very comfortable, the hosts very responsive by text, and the location was convenient, quiet but just a 15 minute, gorgeous drive to Lake Placid. Very convenient to some great hiking trails!

The kids and I really loved staying at the spruce. It was newly renovated and looked beautiful. The kids had a campfire in the back and everything was provided for it. Plenty of room outside for them to run and explore. Breakfast was good and just enough for us to start the day.

Great location, close to whiteface mountain and 20mins either way to Lake Placid or Ausable Chasm. Staff was very helpful proving suggestions to visit Stag Brook falls and restaurant suggestions. Morning breakfast being included at this lodge was a plus to start off our morning without worrying about having the kids fed before starting our day.

My room was immaculate...clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Shout out to the towels!!!! So plush and absorbent. The bed was comfy with lots of pillows. I also loved the Adirondack decor and chairs. Very clean and excellent European styled breakfast included with the room. The front desk is virtual however. Everything is done remotely via phone or text. Staff operates the kitchen in the morning and cleaning staff clean room every second day.
