This hotel is excellent! From the moment you arrive the staff are amazing. Leo the driver is so knowledgeable when taking you around town. The rooms are fab, having an open fire was luxurious and a nice surprise. Loved everything about the room and food in the main restaurant

I think the coffee/tea service at check in is a nice touch. The beds are very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was awesome. Overall service on the property is great. The dining room and dinner was exceptional. The property has great little spots to enjoy, including the library and piano in the lounge. For light sleepers, the train at night can be a nuisance.

We really enjoyed our stay at Post Hotel and Spa! The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. We especially appreciated the complimentary shuttle to Lake Louise. The drivers were very friendly and helpful and it took the stress out of trying to find a parking spot. Our only downside was that the rooms don’t have air conditioning (which we knew prior to booking), but since we were on the first floor, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows or doors open at night for safety reasons, so the room got quite hot. They do provide fans which helped a little bit. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. We would definitely consider staying again!

So we arrived after traveling and the ambience and service was amazing. River front room, tea time, comfortable bed, amazing hot tub in a nice Spa atmosphere and a great lounger with good appetizers for dinner. We loved it sooo much we left our “already paid” hotel to return for another night. That speaks volumes. Thanks Victoria, Rose and ALL the amazing staff for such great service!!!

Arrived to check in after a long hike, and was in my hiking clothes. I felt that the front desk person “looked down on me” and acted in a rather snobby way. I felt that way for most of my stay and even when I checked out. I only stayed one night in the lodge. Because of feeling judged, I didn’t explore the hotel’s amenities. It is a dated hotel, that felt over priced to me, and didn’t have air conditioning (really stuffy in July). Others have complained about train noise, but I didn’t hear anything that kept me up. This was my least favorite stay of my vacation.

The stay at the Post Hotel was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, courteous and attentive to all our needs and nothing seemed to be any problem for them. Our room was on the 'railway side' but although we were obviously aware of the trains there were no problems. The location of the hotel was very good and very close to all the local amenities.

Staff were excellent. Cozy lounge with fireplace for drinks in the evening. Dinner at the dining room was expensive but worth it--outstanding meal. Pool and large hot tub, very nice. Convenient door-to-slope shuttle service for skiing.
