Great location run down facility

The location and view were awesome. Check in people were great. The room was pretty old, rundown, smelled really bad. We rented a boat, but couldn’t get the one we wanted in the end because they couldn’t get it started. I think it probably hadn’t started in a long time.

It was right in the beach. It seemed that they were allow in getting things such as the pool ready.

I love the concept of the property. My room was ground level right at the beach. It was a big room and definitely in need of updating. I didn't try out the bar or restaurant. The bar sounded fun. They were in the process of redoing the pool. I would give it another try since they do have a beach area that I can enjoy.

Our first room wasn’t a suite as I requested and paid for. Had to request a new room. Very disappointing as the pool was under construction. When I booked, the only under construction was the Golf course.

Unfortunately we had no amenities for our $25 resort fee per day. The pool, swim up bar was empty and being fixed due to tree roots. There was no hot tub or anything. We woke up at 7am every day due to construction workers and there vehicles, jack hammers started at 8am. The tiki bars outside we’re closed. The ice cream shop inside we’re closed. We asked the desk worker what our $25 per day gets us and he said the lake view and 2x 10lbs. Of ice a day! Who needs 20 lbs. of ice a day for $25? Luckily after complaining, we were issued rights to go to the London Bridge hotel up the road and use their pool. What an inconvenience but so glad to have seen the London Bridge hotel for future stays.

Outdoor pool is under rebuild recently. 5 person was working WITH MACHINE HAMMERS from 8 am 20 meters away from our balcony. You can not talk to each other on the balcony , either in the room or the lobby. I asked thebmanagement to cancel our 2nd day stay on that reason - at first they agreed on that but after leaving a smaller amount arrived back only. It is not a clear story - I think. Rebuilding a pool is a good thing but machine hammer during a honeymoon is killer - You should understand this , not only charging my card.

The location was good but the front desk was not, there was so much noise at 8am sounded like a chainsaw and hardly any water pressure in the sink or shower
