Staff tried to be very helpful but seemed more training necessary. Room was very spacious and clean EXCEPT FOR BLACK MOLD on bottom grout of shower tub. Building needed pressure cleaning and fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was nice treat, limited options but good overall. Lots of potential and would stay next year depending on overall progress made in sprucing up the place.

This property is passed its prime. Half of the building appears condemned, the grounds are unkept, and the interior maintenance is lacking. The room had the amenities as advertised and was clean and organized. The WiFi connection on the TV would not stay connected and did not work. This resort and the properties surrounding Lake Harmony appear to be struggling and on their way out. In the middle of July this resort (with a water park) was like a ghost town. If you want a clean room to stay in (and are ok with paint and drywall pealing and stained rugs), moderate staff, multiple indoor pools, and the place to yourself give it a try.

We stayed in one of the condo units tucked in the woods and it was very quiet. There were no supplies provided in the kitchen ( dish cloths, soap, etc.) because we were not time share owners, but they were eventually provided when requested. The in room Jacuzzi was great. The property is aging, but is being updated by Wyndham at this time and improvements are expected.

Room was adequate but very old, bathroom food didn’t close, AC and heating was temperamental. We have been staying at Split Rock for more than 20 years now and they need to invest a bit more into the facility. On the upside, the pool is still good, common areas are maintained and gym is newly renovated and with all new equipment.

Loved staying here: the only issue I had was they did not discuss the amount of the security deposit while checking in and automatically charged my card an extra $200. I feel communication on their end should have been better with that. The room was very nice but once we turned the AC on in the bedroom a bunch of black stuff shot out all over the bed. Def did not enjoy that. Maybe it just needed a good cleaning prior to use.

The saving grace of our stay was that my 4 and 5 year old were easily impressed by the water park (that was only half operational) and had mold growing on the infrastructure and the arcade. We did bowling, but the lane kept freezing so we gave up on the game. The pool was large, but the pool area had trash and dirt everywhere. The hotel was very dated. The first room they gave us did not have working AC, so we had to switch room (which took about 2 hours to sort out). Our bathroom light/vent did not have a cover. The carpets and bedding had stains. The kitchenette had no utensils or trash can. There was no ice machine for guest use. The room did not have regular TV, so we had to sign in to our netflix account.

It was nice there. We stayed at the off-sight units, which was fine with us, we were only staying one night and didn't have any kids with us. It was dated, but very clean. There was probably only 4 other rooms being used in the whole unit, again, it was ok with us. If I could complain about anything, it would be that it had a full kitchen, but no utensils or flatware or a garbage can anywhere. So it was really peaceful. We had a good time.
