The resort is beautiful! The rooms we had were super clean and the staff was very friendly! The lake is spectacular and the amenities offered were above and beyond what we expected. They had fire pits, basketball and pickleball courts, and a playground. Wish we were staying longer than a night. Definitely would go back.

Friendly, service-oriented family run hotel and resort with a generous ton of amenities and conveniences. The room was spacious and very nice; clean and quiet. The views down by the lake are great and the staff make this an easy place to relax and enjoy. Recommend it highly!

Fall Getaway

Quiet and cozy rooms, true to pictures posted on resort site. Beach front in beautiful and picturesque location with plenty of comfortable Adirondack chairs right on the beach overlooking the lake. Will definitely stay there again!

The location was serene and immaculate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The view of the lake was stunning. We took pleasure in the pool, game room, gym, and playgrounds. The hotel also offers a laundry room. We will certainly return!

We had a beautiful stay . The only thing I can say if u have to check in late you’re in trouble because the office closes. Luckily my son got there before me and was able to get my and my other sons key to the room . But otherwise it was spotless clean and when I met the staff so kind and courteous .

We stayed at the family suite. The rooms are nice and clean. They have all the facilities we need. We couldn’t get the cabin but it turned out that the family suite was better for us. We will come back again!

This is our second trip to The Stone Gate Resort. The family that runs the resort goes out of their way to ensure everyone has a great time. The private lake area and pool have great seating areas are very enjoyable. We love the location and how close it is to Bolton Landing, the town of Lake George & Queensbury. We will be back next year for sure!

THE STONE GATE RESORT THE BEST HOTEL ON LAKE GEORG

Absolutely wonderful!!! We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite with 2-full bathrooms which was well furnished and clean. Every employee of this family owned hotel is kind and always offers assistance with anything you need. They have a private beach with kayak and paddle board rentals and a boat with a captain that will take you on a tour or pull you in a float..I HIGHLY recommend this GEM!!

At check-in there was water on bathroom floor. Overnight it became a sizable puddle. Believe toilet supply line was leaking. Repair gone bad? Annoying that had to tiptoe around puddle trying to leave the next morning.
