A nice beach right on the lake. On staffer was cleaning outside, she noticed us taking pictues in front of a rainbow and offered to take our family picture. We had an issue with the toilet handle and it was replaced quickly. It was a good family environment, within walking distance of the shops. The boys taking care of the water activities could be happier and friendlier.

We had a great stay at Surfside. It was close to walk into the village. The water sports were fun, they have pedal boats, paddle boats and kayaks to use. I was disappointed there was a mandatory $50 additional fee for them that should be included in the reservation rate. The private beach was great other than it wasn't picked up, there was garbage around and people left their belongings scattered and nobody fixed the chairs after it closed so when we arrived in the morning it wasn't "ready" for guests as you would redirect. The food in both resistant was great and prices were reasonable. Overall it was a great stay and we enjoyed it.

Rooms are super spacious ridiculously clean. The staff is amazing. The location is super convenient close to everything. The pool was clean and awesome. The lake/beach was amazing. They have bar poolside. They have restaurants. It’s just overall amazing. I have been coming to Lake George for several years and we continuously come back to the Surfside resort. They never let us down. We had such an amazing time and we are so excited to come back again and again and again and again.

The room cleaning was excellent. The front desk staff were pleasant but did know very much about anything. The place is great if you're a family with kids i guess, Especially the kind of family that doesn't care what their kids are up to and how much noise they create. Not the facility's fault. It's the parents. Needless to say if you are an older couple that wants peace a quiet this isn't the place for you. Also no walk in shower. A tub you have to step over. Mattresses were very mushy. The parking lot is terrible. The spaces are way too small for the trucks that everyone drives today. So don't bring your good car if you have one. On top of that many people park on or even over the line. Many people visiting customer were parked there too leaving little choice. We did see notices on some of these cars telling them they shouldn't be parked there but nothing was done. I was parked next to someone without an authorized tag on their dashboard for 3 days Again, not the fault of the hotel but be aware. Beware of the balcony room. Probably 90% of the balconies overlook the parking lot. There are maybe a half dozen or so that have a view of the lake. Other than that the place was great.

We stayed here this past weekend with our kids. We had some issues primarily there was a feeling of unfriendliness among the staff. It was our first time in Lake George, and this motel offers a great location, walking distance to the village shop’s restaurants and activities. We absolutely loved Lake George and will definitely come back. Some issues were that this place is outdated, and the water sports offered are not handled in an ideal manner. We would have to wait 20 mins to use kayaks that were sitting there the entire 20m of our wait. Made no sense. Also, the life jackets provided were horrifically smelly and had visible mold on them. My husband and I felt like the beach area was dirty (towels, old toys, napkins) floating on the beach and when we mentioned it to management via text they came at us with camera photos proving that we were wrong however we both have eyes to see that in fact there was garbage on the beach from the day before. It just feels not ideal for them considering this is a family resort. Additionally, they should have activities at night for example snores/campfire stuff considering it’s on a lake. We will absolutely come back to Lake George, just probably not to Surfside.
