  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We went in January and loved it. Loved the lodge style hotel room with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. Plus a jacuzzi tub. Close to downtown and local restaurants it was the perfect stay. Just know there is no housekeeping, which we didn’t mind. Also the only downside was the walls are wood so you could hear the people in the next room talking. Otherwise it was a perfect trip and we hope to come back next year!

My wife and I had a great stay at The Lodges of Cresthaven. Her room was clean and cozy, the bed was super comfortable and we loved the view of the lake. The property was beautiful, well kept and had plenty of amenities. We loved the pool and grotto hot tub.

This place was phenomenal! From check in to checkout everything was amazing. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. The dinner at the Boathouse was delicious, along with the gorgeous view. I cannot say enough good things about this property. So worth the money.

Beautiful balcony scenic view. We stayed at the 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms lodge, 1000+ sqft, very well planned and spacious. Love the nature theme decoration with attenton to details. It's also clean and in great condition. We'll definitely stay again.

Room was immaculate and lots of space we had a luxury room view of the lake from balcony, the grounds are steep to walk to facilities that was are only draw back, the staff definitely took a lot of effort to decorate the grounds for fall it was beautiful, had to call maintenence for a beeping fire alarm, they responded immediately to replace battery, short drive to village which was nice, .

Amazing!

This was probably one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The grounds were kept up and so beautiful. The rooms were much bigger than I imagined and also maintained and as clean as the outside. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need. I highly recommend The Lodges at Cresthaven and can't wait to go back. The only drawback to mention is there might be a lot of steps for someone who can't do steps. Other than that everything was perfect from the beginning to the end of our stay. The steps weren't a problem for me, but I just wanted to make others aware of the steps to get down to the restaurant and beach area as well as the steps getting to some of the rooms.
