The bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. The shower tub was not clean. Floor in the room had not been vaccumed.
There was only 1 was cloth for 2 people.
It appears this site was purchased in an advanced state if deterioration with old signs printed on paper taped to the windows on two buildings that the building is closed due to water issues. This site needs substantial funding to make it decent. There was no coffee or fridge in the room, grounds were not kept, very old finishes in the room we had, very old mattress and box spring with no fitted sheet just a sheet on the bed, very old common area finishes like wall panelling and carpet. They used some kind of air freshener in our room before we went in that was overwhelming, obviously to cover up some kind of smell. The air conditioner was old and loud like many are but this was another level. It was functional but that was about it.

Beautiful view in a great location just south of town. But there was no wifi. The rooms were clean no problems but the facilities need to be upgraded. The lawn in front wasn’t mowed and the place looks in need of maintenance.
The driveway was not maintained and had several large potholes and cracks which was scary to navigate with a motorcycle.
The toilet was unbolted and wobbled.
The hair dryer plug and outlet were charred.
There were stains on the wall and bathroom ceiling.
The shower faucet would not stop dripping.
The shower curtain was dirty and molded on the bottom.
The refrigerator froze everything I put in it.
I felt like I was in a hot sheet motel. The desk clerk tried to put us in an awful room at first, with wallpaper peeling off the walls and bunk beds. I reserved a king, but settled for a room with two double beds.
To be fair this was the first day they were open, however the images and address was incorrect for the actual location. When I got there, they placed me in a room with no pillows, towels or tissues. When I'd say something, the fellow working there would say "really?" and just wander off. But the worst was the wallpaper partially stripped from the wall revealing the mold underneath. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Got a poolside room which was rather small but decently clean. The lack of a fridge and a drippy bathroom faucet were the only major minuses. Continental breakfast was OK consisting of self-made waffles, cereal, bread, etc. (no eggs). Staff was friendly. Kids enjoyed the meager outdoor activities and the outdoor pool looked okay, but we didn't get a chance to use.
This place was good for sleeping, but I wouldn't say much else. But then again at the price you pay, especially compared to others in Lake George area, that's all you can really expect.
