  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Small very basic motel, but clean and comfortable. If you are going to be out all day and just need a place to sleep, it's great. The location is very good and it's even walkable (long walk) to the Million Dollar Beach and the Steamboat Marina, so you would save on the parking fee.

The owners of this property are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about them. Very welcoming and kind. We will definitely stay here again. Good old-fashioned motel experience that you don't really see too often anymore.

Inexpensive, safe, and clean!!

I am so impressed with this little motel! Clearly family run. Very friendly people! The room was small and maybe not a destination in and of itself, but for a safe and clean place to sleep and shower, it was perfect! They definitely keep it clean and maintained very well and the next time I am in the area I will certainly use the Doray Motel!

Great stay

This was our first time staying at this property but definitely not our last . The owners were welcoming and offered great tips to enjoy Lake George ! This property is within a 15-20 minute walk to Million Dollar Beach and the downtown shops and restaurants . The room was very clean and efficient . We can’t wait for our next visit

The proprietors are warm and friendly, the rooms are super clean ; the well-kept grounds feature a grill and picnic tables for your dining pleasure. Short drive, and within walking distance to the lake/ Fort William Henry recreation museum. All in all, a GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!!

Last minute weekend getaway.

Moray is an older, smaller hotel but was a nice option for an impromptu weekend trip for me and the wife. Pleasant staff, very helpful and quick during check in. Small but clean and acceptable bathroom. And price was fair.

Older motel ,mom and pop operation. friendly. the owner took time to talk with us. check in was quick. it was Mid May, so lots of places in the area were not open yet in Lake George, many motels were still cleaning/sprucing up. The owner also took the time to speak to me with options available at the property for the September adirondack nationals car show.1 Draw back no pool.

Small getaway

What a lovely spot this was. Our room was clean and newly renovated and had all the basics like microwave small refrigerator towels soap etc. No daily room cleaning which we like but when we needed anything extra the owners were helpful. We tend to choose small family owned and operated spots. Downtown area was a ten min walk and lots of great restaurants walking distance. We look forward to coming back.

Out dated , but very clean friendly owner . Super nice person . Place could use renovations. New shower curtains. Nice place to stop for an easy place to stay , sleep . Place has no pool . But Expedia’s says it does . Not owner’s fault. Next door to Stewart convienance shop for food and snacks . Walgreens close by . Short walk to downtown. Would stay here again.

Not fancy, but super sweet! Loved it.

This is a simple little motel where we stopped on our way during a long road trip. We weren’t looking for more than a clean bed and a bathroom. We were pleasantly greeted by the charming owners, who engaged us in a nice conversation. They were just so kind. We were also so happy to discover an EV destination charger on-site. There's a convenience store right next door so we grabbed some beer and hung out on the “patio” (really just two chairs in front of the door, but it was so nice and cozy). There were also friendly people in one of the other rooms, and between them and the owners it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends when we left.
