They very cute little cottages with lampost lights in a cleared wooded area. Very peacefull and realxing. Extremely comfortable is you like the outdoor camping experience with out having to pitch a tent and sleep on air mattresses - I would highly recommend this location. If your an AM coffee drinker you may want to bring a small coffee pot

Our room was clean and a cool breeze at night allowed us to leave most of our windows open to enjoy the fresh air. The room felt more spacious due to an A-frame type roof. A few things we would recommend are a ceiling fan, an extra table next to the bed, more outlets near the headboard for those using necessary electrical devices, and a light above the refrigerator. The bathroom was adequate, but it was a bit of a struggle showering in the small space, a small shelf for shampoo and conditioner would help guests, and it was somewhat difficult adjusting the water temperature. There was a small shelf for toiletries below the window. Two more hooks on the bathroom door for towels to dry would be very helpful, and grab bar/s for older guests to assist getting up off the toilet in the small confines should be a must. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay at the Amber Lanteen again. Our host was extremely helpful and kind. The property offered multiple game and play areas for both children and adults in addition the the swimming pool.

It was an absolutely beautiful cottage. It’s pet friendly. It’s well stocked with plates and utensils as well as dish soap and a dish drying rack. It was a perfect place to stay.

The cabins are super cute, the owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is close enough to attractions yet far enough away from the busyness of Lake George to ensure a peaceful and quiet stay.

The rooms were very cozy, and the owner was on top of everything. There was never a worry about towels or garbage bags or anything of that nature it was helpful and advice of where to eat and we will probably gladly stay there again one day.

Amber Lantern is a wonderful property to stay at. Just the overall feel is cozy and comfortable; I love the cabins, especially since they’re just right for what you need. The manager and staff are polite and attentive; they leave you be when you want to just do your thing, but they’re around to ask for help when necessary. Definitely booking again.

The property is very adorable and quaint. The cottages are adorable and clean. May need a bit of updating but for what I needed it was perfect. The town was just minutes away by car. The owners were supper nice!

We love Amber Lantern! Tom is an amazing host and kind and available. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!

We rented two units for 5 days and had a wonderful time. My family of 8 stayed and everyone had a great time. There were close fun things to do in Lake George! When it was time to relax and enjoy the pool, playground, ping pong and other outdoor games we all really enjoyed our time at Amber Lantern! The owners are very nice and accommodating! Definitely would go back again!

It was our first stay, and not our last! We enjoyed the kindness of the staff, the clean room/cottage and also the location. There were a few guests that were a bit loud on occasion, but that can't be helped, especially during busy season. We would probably just choose a cabin that is alone rather than shared next time. We look forward to coming again!

I travel with my husband and two sons.The location is close to the village of Lake Greorge ( by car), the staff are friendly and helpfull. We like this location becouse the cottage has everything that you need for a stay ( mini kitchen, bathroom with shower, beds, tv , air conditioner and some pots, pans, ect..). Also you can bring your own grill and kitchen items. The location is beautiful. We will back again.
