Everything was great! The Lakewood rooms are gorgeous with an amazing view of the lake. Can’t beat the two separate spaces, 2 full baths and a fireplace! It’s a little further from the amenities but that was what we were looking for!

Lake Lawn has been around for well over 100 years. While the grounds are as expansive and lovely as always, major renovations have been done to the rooms, restaurant and common areas. Staff is friendly and professional from maintenance to front desk. While we went in what was the "off season" there were still enough options to make our stay worthwhile.

Our room was mostly clean but a few items I noticed while taking a bath were mold under the tile in the tub wall and also in the crevasses on the toilet where the tank meets the base but the room was otherwise clean. The room was spacious with a nice patio and our room had a jetted tub in the bathroom which I loved. There are several amenities onsite including several restaurants, pool/jacuzzi inside and out, fitness center, spa, kids game room, gift shop and golf course. We liked that you could get to everything within the resort without needing to exit the building. We went Easter weekend and there were a variety of special activities included for free. We'll definitely be back over the summer when we can enjoy the outdoor amenities. It's not far from Lake Geneva- we found plenty to keep us busy for a long weekend.

The staff at the front desk was meh. Housekeeping was great! Rooms are beautiful and very clean. 1878 restaurant was so bad. Do not eat there! Ugh. We gave it 2 tries and each time was a bad experience. The staff was okay, waitresses but the food…yuck. The pool and staff were great! The ground were clean the gift was okay, but a snide young lady working there that acted like it was inconvenient to helps us. Otherwise, we thought it was great!
